BTC Lite supply

The block explorer on Etherscan shows that the BTC Lite supply is 21,000,000. There can be no more than this very number. However, since there was a token burn, the effective supply was reduced to 18,700,000. A total of 2.3M tokens were sent to 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000001. Noone has access to the private key to that address.

BTC Lite Exchanges

Currently, you can buy BTC Lite (BTCL) on two exchanges – stocks.exchange and ForkDelta. On Stocks.exchange, you can buy using Bitcoin and on ForkDelta, we are using Ethereum pairing. ForkDelta is fork of EtherDelta and is even using the same order books.

You can follow our tutorial on how to trade on ForkDelta. While it was written for EtherDelta in mind, it works just fine for ForkDelta.
